Yeah, congress has done such a good job controlling him the past 2 years......

Yep, that's the ticket.

Good luck finding the governor with a set of balls, you might want to check out what's actually happened in AZ rather than what you wish it to be.

Please rethink, or alternatively......begin to think......this is not an internet game the other side is playing.

Just because they haven't doesn't mean they couldn't. It's sort of a sick inversion of Uncle Ben's talk with Peter "Just because you have the power doesn't mean you have the right" becoming "Just because you have the right/responsibility doesn't mean you have the [use of the] power"

Good luck finding the governor with a set of balls,

Yeah, I know, it's hopeless as it seems part of the initiation-ritual to become a Republican politician involves a rubber-band and the testes.

you might want to check out what's actually happened in AZ rather than what you wish it to be.

I know several things have happened; such as huge swaths of land being "warning"/"off limits" due to active use by drug & human traffickers. I know the Supreme Court AZ decision was horrible and meant to be an appeasement to both sides while actually kicking the can down the road. And I know that the use of military force to secure a State's borders is valid, justified use of force.

Please rethink, or alternatively......begin to think......this is not an internet game the other side is playing.

Who said it was? The issues presented are not going to go painlessly away. The government has too far and too long thought to use its powers against its citizens, to harm them, rather than the way they ought to be used, to protect them. Oh sure, they make a bunch of noise about having to be overseas and fighting wars over there so we don't have to fight them here... and it's all a smoke-screen, something to keep your eyes from seeing what's really going on. What's really going on, whether intentionally or unintentionally, is the relegation of "average citizen" to a sort of fourth-class tier, the "illegal immigrant" to the third-class tier, the police and general government agents to the second-class tier, and finally the political caste to the primary tier -- if you don't believe me look at how "the law" is applied and used against each of these classes, how easy/difficult it is to convict people of the class, and what sort of consequences follow an infraction.

There are still things we can do without resorting to thee right reserved in the Declaration of Independence... though those are fast being compromised. In short, the longer things are allowed to stay on this course the less likely that it can be resolved w/o bloodshed. A good president may make significant strides against this, and possibly even by God's grace "reverse the flow" but Romney is not that man and I believe will be more detrimental in the long-run than even Obama -- at least with Obama there is a polarizing effect, with Romney there is nothing: he is a a mere windsock, a puppet, a windsock-puppet if you will. A man that stands for nothing will fall for anything; do you really think that Mr. Windsock will catch the political-winds by the rest of us way out here, or is it more likely that will be shielded away and the hot air in DC will fill his sails?

You ask me to think, and I have. It is the unthinking that think a mere election without a national-level change-of-heart will do anything. It is the unthinking that say "We've got to vote party X, because of party/person Y!" It is the unthinking that posit that the solutions to today's problems will be by the very methods and policies that created them.
