Did a repub bother to get on the ballot? I could see latino voters staging a protest vote just to screw Rangel.

Republicans should run ads in Rangles district that “we many not tell you everything you want to hear, but we won’t lie to you and steal elections.”

this was only a Democratic primary; if the Republicans nominated a candidate, that would be for the November general election

A Republican would not be on the ballot, as this was a Democratic primary. Republican would be on the November ballot, but I do NOT know if anyone is running this year. In 2010 we had a pretty creidble candidate, Reverend Michel Faulkner, and yet he only got 10%.
