PLACENTIA (CBS) A backpack containing explosives was discovered Monday morning near a bridge in Orange County.
Workers found the backpack just before 9 a.m. on Lakeview Avenue between Orangethorpe and La Palma avenues in Placentia, Orange County Sheriffs officials said.
Officials say it contained two hand grenades, black powder, white powder, fuse igniters, blasting caps, grenade fuses and two canisters. Authorities believe the backpack may have been lef tin the area for some time.
The Orange County Bomb Squad has described the situation as extremely volatile.
Evacuations of the surrounding area have been ordered and streets are blocked off.
The bomb squad will detonate the contents of the backpack at the scene, sheriffs officials said.

Barack Sierra.
Last couple of times anyone was intercepted doing this, WE had supplied the materials as part of a “sting”.

Officials further disclosed the backpack was naked and high on bath salts.

Have no idea where Placentia is. How about putting the state abbreviation in parentheses after the title of the post, as is customary?
