Funny how people think of the pyramids as old, when in fact the rocks they walk on in their back yards are many thousands of times older.
Perspective is a funny thing. A structure was built by some impossible means thousands of years before Pathagoras contributed to geometry or carbon steel was used for in tools. People don't go to Eqypt to look at "old rocks stacked in a pyramid." It's the wonder of what it took to do it, how it was done, the scale of what was done and how long it has endured the elements. Nobody did anything special with that rock in your back yard.
Consequently, if you want to really be amazed, every particle in your body came from a supernova somewhere billions of years ago. So, theoretically, you are older than the "pyramids" too.
