This is the new Democrat talking point. It isn't just Pelousi that is claiming it.
They know it looks bad. Regardless of what Romney said, he was treated with disrespect. It makes the NAACP look small and petty.
If Obama had spoke to a Tea Party convention and was treated like Romney was, there would be non-stop condemnation of the Tea Party for weeks.
Ask Joe Wilson.

The Democrat narrative on the Romney speech was written before he was ever scheduled to appear. Per Democrats Romney showed to get credit with his racist supporters. Had he not appeared he would have been called a coward. No surprises here.

I listened to a good part of the Romney @ NAACP speech on the radio and , in my opinion, Romney received a WHOLE LOT more applause throughout the speech than he did boo’s when he mentioned 0bammacare.
“They” were cheering for most of the same things I was.
Not to mention they gave him a standing ovation at the end.

Let me get this straight, Nancy. Are you stating that Mitt, following an invitation from the NAACP (presumably to boo at him) went, hoping to get booed so that the American people would realize what a hate-filled racist that group is and what a gentleman Mitt is for standing there, smiling and being polite.
Yeah, what a "tar baby" that one is: "invite me so that I'll look good when you, being the racists you are, will boo at me while I remain calm, cool and collected."
Mitt is really some kind of wizard to put that one together.
