someone like Chris Christie Christie will ensure Obama's election. The GOP needs a solid, pro-life social conservative as its veep candidate. Otherwise, much of the base stays home.

Ok - I’ll go with that... but I like Christie’s spontaneity and passion.

If the base doesn't realize that our country hangs in the balance (so as to stay home on election day), then we are already doomed.
Furthermore, a Veep doesn't do sh!t once the election is over. He/she is all about the campaign.
Christie would tear a gaping hole in Obama.
I don't care for his politics, but I admire his courage and his willingness to speak the truth as he sees it.

It will be an interesting dynamic between a candidate they don't like and a president they absolutely loathe. If this were Romney versus a Bubba Clinton where the economy doing well, I could see voters staying home. Romney versus Obama in a horrible economy, I don't know how many will sit this one out.
By the way, love the tagline.

We need somebody with personality, and a flamboyance missing with Romney. You want a pro-life, pro-defense, hard core conservative? I’ve got just the guy. Somebody dig up B-1 Bob Dornan’s phone number.

Agreed. Christie is another RINO.

If “the base” stays home in THIS election because of a VP pick, they’re fools.

If the base stays home then they/we deserve four years of Obama and the destruction of liberty forever. OBAMA solidifies our base — not the VP pick.
