It was a fantastic movie. Sheen's character was more an apocalyptic megalomaniac than a specifically Christian Conservative, IMHO.

I’ve read almost everything King has written (with the exception of the Gunslinger series so far), and in his books, Christian characters are just about always nuts. He really has an anti-God thing going on.
