Same here. It ASTOUNDS me how conservative parents, who absolutely LOVE their children, would throw them into those institutions and expect a bunch of left-wing, sex-crazed, drug-using drunks (i.e., today’s teachers, for the most part, at least during their college years) to teach their kids to read and teach them math.
SOME of us parents didn’t rely on that and made damn sure that our kids learned reading and math, long before any of these ‘educators’ had any chance of getting their hands on them.
