Even if Europe went free market and fled socialism, they still have a massive Islamic presence. Islam and prosperity are not good friends.
Dr. Dan's prescription is all well and good, but he needs to work on marketing the idea to Europe's (and the US's) youth. Instead of describing a program of limited govt as a "return to the old ways", he should frame such a program as new, something the kids could try which their parents and grandparents didn't think of. The group he was speaking to sounds like a good bunch, but to move his ideas beyond those who already get it requires a veneer of novelty.
