... for those suffering from ABO tunnel-vision, who think that when their candidate loses, it's because the folks who declined to vote for him "voted for the other guy even when they didn't actually mark his name on their ballot but it was the same thing because the other guy won."

Those of us free of the tunnel understand that when a candidate loses, it's because he didn't get enough votes. Period.
