Being here since 1998, you should realize that wild, unsubstantiated speculation has become part of the format in recent years. Yeah, it troubles me too.
It’s the way of the world and no place is safe from it’s infiltration. Eventually, freepers are the first to discount it/them and the first to report the truth. So this place is on top of things, IMO.
