I can't help but wonder ..... what did the mother of this former Med School student know if she told the authorities that .... "You definitely have the right person in custody"

Did her son tell her of his plans? If she knew anything she could very well be in deep deep doo doo if she didn't alert authorities.

A San Diego woman identifying herself as James Holmes's mother spoke briefly with ABC News this morning.
She had awoken unaware of the news of the shooting and had not been contacted by authorities. She immediately expressed concern that her son may have been involved.
"You have the right person," she said.
"I need to call the police," she added. "I need to fly out to Colorado."

If he was a radical Occupy terrorist, his mom knew what he was capable of doing.

I suspect the police in California showed her a photograph of the shooter taken after he was in custody.
