“10 - 20 thousand dollars “

Where did you get that figure? The guns and ammo he used can be had for under $2,000 total.

In addition to Kevlar body armor, other tac gear, gas mask, teargas cannisters ... $20k is overkill but you’re lowballing it pretty badly. He paid retail at Gander Mountain for some, others ordered online. He spent more than $5k easily.

With over 6000 5.56 rounds? 3000 for the Glocks and 1000 shotgun shells? Where are you buying ammo?

If you are a ‘smart’ shopper, perhaps for under $10,000...

He bought guns at gun shops in the area...top dollar...maybe $2,000 total if he got any kind of a deal. Ammo...approx $.75 to $1.00 a round, and it is reported he bought at least 6,000 rounds. His magazines, several hundred dollars...maybe $5 or $600 total. Add all this up, then start on the other stuff...the hidden stuff

I doubt what he had could be had for $2,000. Just the cost of 6,000 rounds of 223 ammo would total more than $3,000 if he shopped around and that doesn’t include taxes or shipping and that is a very optimistic estimate. The AR 15 would be close to a thousand by itself if he were lucky and got it on sale. The body armor, other weapons, other ammo, magazines and booby trap materials would drive the cost up immensely .... and the jerk didn’t seem to be experienced at all which leads me to believe that he spent at least $10,000 but probably more.
