Neither did the London subway bombers, the 9/11 creeps, many more.
This guy in Aurora was an accomplished bombmaker, from all reports. Take his guns, he’ll use grenades.
Killers will kill. Concentrating on method rather than cause and prevention is short-sighted and stupid.
And Switzerland, one of the most heavily-armed countries on earth, is also one of the most peaceful and crime-free.
For the record, I really do not like guns. At all. Own them, don’t like them.
Jedidiah..your comments are the first I always think of in these situations. It’s the difference in “us” and “them”. My first thought was that if most everyone in the theater had been armed, the shooter would not have gotten off so many shots. His vest was “bullet resistant” according to the police chief...a .357 would have at least knocked him down then he could have been disarmed or killed.
Why libs think that people who don’t obey laws against murder are going to obey gun laws is something they cannot logically explain.
Of all the tools I own, I hate my chain saw the worst.
