Chik-Fil-A is a private run company. Since when is talking about traditional values and normal life an opinion that needs to be kept to self. They have supported programs for marriage for many years. Originally, I suppose they supported the programs because of the faltering of the family and rising divorce. Now marriage is being bastardized and being made unrecognizable. Mr. Cathy only reaffirmed where they have been all the time and did not refuse to serve anyone. The Muppets are the ones who made the move away from the norm and decided who they would not serve. They now have to find a way to market their product in a different way to children. Now parents know where Muppets stand and can make their decisions accordingly. Standing for the normal and traditional is not something to be chastised for.

That's what burns me. Mr. Cathy made it clear that they discriminate against NO ONE. Gay, straight, purple, or polka-dotted. He just stated his BELIEF in one man one woman marriage. How the left twisted this into "anti-gay" I have no idea. Or why the Muppets would want to wander into this debate. More likely to turn parents off.

I certainly will think twice about letting my child watch Sesame Street after this.
