Get Ready: Big Gay is coming after Chick-fil-a

Posted on 07/24/2012 8:03:34 AM PDT by Gopher Broke

“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say ‘we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage and I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.” ~ Dan Cathy, President, Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is a family-owned, family-run business which is guided by explicitly biblical business principles and even closes on Sunday in honor of what the Scriptures call “the Lord’s day.”

Chick-fil-A started in 1967 and has recorded 44 straight years of sales growth. It now has more than 1,600 restaurants in 39 states and Washington, D.C. and plans to open 77 stand-alone restaurants and 15 licensee locations in 2012.

President Dan Cathy, who to this point has been somewhat reticent in publicly declaring his and his company’s opposition to sodomy-based marriage, is now about to experience the full wrath of the homosexual lobby.

There is plenty of hate in the debate over same-sex marriage, but it’s not coming from the pro-family community, for the simple reason that disagreement is not hatred. But there is a volcanic level of vitriol and venom that spews like magma from the darkened hearts of homosexual activists. Chick-fil-A is about to find out what it is like to be Pompeii.

One thing to keep in mind when reading Rom 1:18-32 -

the acceptance of homosexuality will not, as the CFA president said, LEAD to God’s judgement.

It IS God’s judgement.

Tortious interference with business relationships....

Looks like an opportunity to bankrupt the Homo Mafia is developing here...

Eating a hot dog is very American.
Eating hot dog is not.

I’m not a customer but I might just have to become one!

I'm with you.
Don't like their waffle fries in particular but might find something else. A salad w/ chicken could work.

Any company that takes a stand against the mainstreaming of Faggotry is A Okay in my book.

Have the cows stand between them and the rest of the patrons.

At what point does it cross from a 1st amendment demonstration to a RICO extortion racket?

They got Cracker Barrel to cave. They got Dr. Laura exiled to subscription radio. And they got J.C. Penney to literally commit corporate suicide on their behalf. We should not underestimate the power of the Gay Mafia. Pray that Mr. Cathy and his company will stand firm.

You’re probably right about the gay boycott. Gay men love to eat “foodie” food (with the exception of chubbies and chubbie chasers), not Chick Fil A. But I could see them descending on some mall, though, and throwing food and trays around.

I must remember to buy my cokes at Chick Fil A when I’m at the mall.

The problem is not so much the number of homosexuals (minimal). Its the number of liberal moonbats who seem gung-ho about the Gay agenda. From my observation, this is maybe 20-25% of the population. Probably a higher portion of the under 30 demographic.

Thanks for the tip on the ice cream. I do not like their sandwiches but would still like to give them some business.

It IS God’s judgement.

You are absolutely right...that seems to confuse a lot of people. This is a consequence of failing to acknowledge Him as Creator...

But there is a volcanic level of vitriol and venom that spews like magma from the darkened hearts of homosexual activists. Chick-fil-A is about to find out what it is like to be Pompeii.

Our fore founders used to give them the death penalty, because they were such a danger to normal society.
Later, they just got life imprisonment, because their crime wasn't murder (AIDs was not around then) .
Next, They thought maybe they were mad, and put them in the insane asylums.

Today, since around 1980, they've been free to walk the streets, but now you understand why our ancestors did what they did. It's only been less than 15 years, and look what they've done to this country already. These people aren't normal, so what do we do with them?
I would suggest they be put back into the asylums until some one figures that out.

.

I love this. Once college aged kids taste chick-fil-a, they are hooked like it was heroin. Now the campus homos want to take away their chicken. Oh the cognitive dissonance,,

My theory is that there are a lot of young liberals who weren’t around when the Civil Rights movement started in the 50s/60s and so wish they could be part of something like that, so they latched onto the whole gay rights thing, because it makes them feel like they’re part of something like that.

Even though one movement was based on characteristics, skin color, that a person had no control over and should have no bearing on their behavior, and the other is based on a chosen behavior, making it an apples to oranges thing.

The argument can be made since their intent is to harm the business and drive them out of business its not protected speech.

Bacon keeps the Moslems out of Bobs, IHOP and other family restaurants ~ certainly this can keep the gays out of Chick-fil-a ~ and there’s nothing wrong with that.
