The Christians might want to start moving towards the Golan so they can get across the border into Israel once the cleansing begins.
To be honest, I am amazed chemical weapons have not been used yet to start said “cleansing”.
Those Arab Christians probably understand that they are quite likely to be shot on sight by the IDF.
Large numbers of them fought in the Syrian armed forced against Israel in multiple wars, including on the Golan, and those also mostly hate Israel with a passion.
Yes, its true, such Christians have lived and fought on both sides, but they did have some protection - some - from the current regime.
It is a complex situation especially with the Druse.
I do not envy them their predicament at this time.
Or even Lebanon. They still have a significant Christian minority there.
