You are absolutely right about the dole. It’s not in any way designed to get you out of poverty, it’s designed to keep you in it. And all your kids, too. It’s a pit; once you fall in, you don’t get out. And that’s why it doesn’t need to be reformed.

The House does many things that don’t make sense, and going back on their words and actions is pretty normal for them. We conservatives are pretty used to having the rug pulled out from under us, so we have to watch ‘em every minute.
