I hate to say "I told you so!" ... but this is exactly what I predicted the day ObamaCare passed in 2010. Took a lot of crap here on FreeRepublic, too (but I don't mind!). I hate being right sometimes.
For the GOP it's not about "power" as much as it is about gradually taking one of the highest cost items off the backs of American businesses and putting it on the backs of the taxpayers.

Isn't American business also the taxpayer, though. Seems like a bad way to go about it. I don't doubt your logic, because RINO politicians are just as short-sighted and incompetent as the Democrat ones.
