Yeah....my point still stands. There lots of Republicans (more than less) that will vote for anything with an R behind it.
Just because a lot of GOP sheep fell for Romney...doesn’t make a him conservative....nor does it make him a good candidate.
It only makes him the one that the GOPe and the media were most successful at pumping up.
The good news for liberals is that with Romney...they will now own both parties.
Close friends of yours, no doubt.
Anyone knowingly giving Willard a first term at this point really needs a good hard look in the mirror.
A vote for Goode is a vote for Obama. I hope you feel good about that. Obama sure appreciates it.
Our stance is no different than JimRob’s. You have a problem with that, madam, take it up with the boss.
Sho ‘nuff. ;-D
[ They chose this hill they chose to die on and they’ll have to find their conscripts elsewhere ]
Who do you mean by “they.”. The re-election of Obama hurts us and all Americans not some “they.”
Bingo.
>Sounds to me like a pragmatist, better known as an opportunist.<
Sorry to disagree, but he finally joined the GOP because they approached him and kept after him. Those of us in his district know the guy and I assure you, he’s far more conservative than the average GOP politician.
I never thought I’d say this, but although I admire and trust Congressman Goode, I am leaning very strongly toward voting for you-know-who, because we simply cannot risk our commonwealth going to the Dems this year, NOT because I don’t support and admire Virgil. IF he had more than a snowball’s chance, he’d make a great POTUS.
BAAAAAAAAAAAH
It’s nice that you appointed yourself spokesperson. I stand by my comments. Instead of claiming to vote for the conservative, at LEAST someone here has the guts to admit they’re voting for a former democrat, turned republican with help from the greens because they don’t like the other guy.
Hey, kudos for honesty.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !
Why do you fear a Conservative, madam ?
I can appreciate a vote for Goode in a state that won’t matter like Washington, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, California, or the Soviet People’s Republic of Maryland. But having Goode on the ballot in the Commonwealth of Virginia could actually hand its electors over to Obama again.
>As a republican his voting record was unimpeachable.
He has never wavered on support for pro-life.
Compared with Radical Liberal Romney, Virgil Goode is Ronald Reagan.<
Correct. I watched in amazement as he voted time after time for the most conservative positions. I am proud to have been one of his constituents. BUT, we have got to get the reins back to our country before the country we love disappears.
“You vote for your liberal and Ill vote for mine.”
So basically you are following the wishes of Obama and splitting the Republican vote. Obama is depending on people like you.
If on the off chance Romney does manage to pull enough liberal voters to win, Its going to be a real treat watching his “conservative” supporters crying that they had nothing to do with it.
Its as if they know what a pathetic piece of trash Little Mittens is and they want everyone to share the blame for their lack of courage. My conscience is clear and I’ll be here after the election no matter what happens and I won’t forget.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !
