“9,809,662 Republicans voted for Romney in all the state primaries, according to Real Clear Politics. I guess these Republicans are all wrong. There is a point here and I am wondering if you catch on.”

....and how many of these idiots mindlessly voted for Bloomberg without bothering to find out what he stood for just because he had an “R” behind his name?

Consider the voter characteristics of New York City. 68 percent of New York City's registered voters are Democrats. Bloomberg is one of them. He switched from the Democrat Party to run as a Republican with a net worth of $22 billion. He could afford to outspend any other candidate. With Giuliani's endorsement, his election as a Republican to be New York City's mayor was successful. And he has since been reelected to a third term.
