Romney played the punch line perfectly. Williams really looked like a stooge.

Freepers— don’t shoot me, but that line from Romney was down right Reaganesque...he torpedoed the media-enemy while seeming witty and engaging, instead of radical and angry.
Need to see more of this from all republicans and conservatives.
And yes, for the record, Romney was not my first choice, but I am with him all the way over Zero.

I am sure Brian Williams will be asking 0bama all about his past soon, and when he will release all his college records, etc., just like he went after Mitt on his “history” and tax returns. (NOT)

It is a shame that anyone who offers a complement to Romney also feels that it is needed to disclaim that he was not their first choice (or else they will be attacked).
signed - someone who didn't vote for Romney in the primaries, but will likely vote for him in the finals. :)

Agree heartily.
Quick thinking on Mitt’s part.
Wonder if it registered with Williams.

You know better than to change titles. Please delete this post then.
No one will care about it without knowing the part Rush just talked about.

Williams turned red faced.
Look hike he’d been hit with a large striped bass.

I saw this piece last night on Nightly.
Mitt looked like he was primed and ready with the perfect squelch.

It definitely registered, and Williams, though cordial, did not appreciate it one bit -- being called boring.

” will be asking 0bama all about his past soon”!
That is a load of crappola as the hardest thing Williams has ever asked obammy is whether he had a good round of golf today,,.

I love hearing stuff like this come out of his mouth. I’m still thinking about what I’ll do when I step into that voting booth but more of this may help me make a decision.

When I hear Willard say something that I wish I had been able to say to the enemedia, and at the same time, when I hear Obama say things that I thought I've heard come from Kruschev or Mao, then I cannot understand how anyone can say with a straight face that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between them."

Reminds me of this exchange from the VP debate of October 5th, 2000:
LIEBERMAN: I can see my wife and I think she's thinking, "I wish he would go out into the private sector."
CHENEY: Im going to try to help you do that, Joe.
