Palestinian Delegation Thanks Olympic Committee for Denying Moment of Silence to Honor Murdered

The head of the Palestinian Olympic delegation has thanked the International Olympic Committee for denying, again, requests to hold a moment of silence to honor the 11 Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

In a letter sent Tuesday to IOC President Jacques Rogge, Jibril Rajoub said any show of solidarity with the victims would constitute “racism.” The Palestinian terror group Black September was responsible for the slayings.

“Sports are a bridge for love, communication and the spreading of peace between nations and should not be used for divisiveness and the spread of racism,” Rajoub wrote, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

A senior Palestinian Authority official told the Jerusalem Post that Palestinians are opposed to “Israel’s attempts to exploit the Olympic games for propaganda purposes.”

What a joke the Olympics has become. Fostered to bring peace between nations, now it officialy disrespects murder in its own backyard.

All the more reason to observe the moment of silence.

Just don’t make a joke that involves blacks, else you’ll get booted. (see Voula Papachristou)

Three Cheers for Bob Costas - He is outraged and intends to honor the murdered Israeli athletes with his own on-air moment of silence. That would be worth watching right there, I think. As for the abominable Palestinian threat to the IOC, boos should go out for them when they walk by. They’re the racists, and proud of it!

Neither will I. I wasn’t anyway due to contempt for their stupid PC theme of the “diversity olympics” but this last takes the cake. Imagine having the terrorists thank you for not showing respect to their victims-despicable.

Frankly, since “they” are not even a nation, and no nation has accepted them into the fold, “they” should not be anywhere near the Olympics and the committee should have responded accordingly.

Based on the original travesty committed on the people of the world through the Olympics, and the murdered Israeli’s, “they” should have been denied “forever” on that basis alone, much less the fact that “they” are not a nation.

Same with access to the UN. The New York based Stink Farm.

As long as I shall live, I will never forget the sadness and anger I felt when Jim McKay said those words, “They’re all gone.”

Never Forget!

You are 100% correct - gotta wonder why the civilized world cowers once again to these proxies of Hitler’s progeny - Adolph would be so proud.

Which is why, of course, the Israeli athletes were murdered during the Olympics. Because of all the love and spreading of peace...
