A memorable radio moment occurred once, when Don Imus had Chris Matthews on the air as a guest. Matthews launched some kind of diatribe in the middle of it, and said something that had to be "bleeped" to keep it from going out over the airwaves.

I'll provide the details as I remember them:

IMUS: "What are you, nuts? Who are you to come on my radio show and swear like that?"

MATTHEWS: "I very sorry, Don. Sometimes I just lose my cool. Don't be offended -- I swear on my own show all the time."

IMUS: "Yeah, but I actually have an audience who listens to what goes over the airways on my show."
