I think this is an attempt to wiggle their way out. They realize just how stupid it looks to ban CFA because it's owner believes in traditional marriage at the same time they give the red carpet treatment to anti-gay Farrakhan.

Chick-fil-A owners can build if they promise not to lay claim their First Amendment rights.

So will
all companies be required to sign such a document to build in the 1st ward, or only
Christian ones?
Talk about a 1st Ammendment high fast ball over the plate - any decent hitter can knock this one out of the park.

"Moreno told WBEZ that the owners seeking to build the restaurant have said they wont support any groups with a political agenda, including those with an anti-gay marriage stance unless it supports THEIR views.Fixed it.

But this is okay? Hypocrisy knows no bounds with the leftist bastards. There are no rules, and if there are rules, they are to be ignored. Just like the Consitution.
Amazons Founder Pledges $2.5 Million in Support of Same-Sex Marriage
Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon.com, and his wife, MacKenzie, have agreed to donate $2.5 million to help pass a same-sex marriage referendum in Washington State, instantly becoming among the largest financial backers of gay marriage rights in the country.

You’re so right. But no one on Fox has made the connection. And, judging from Rahm’s spokesman this morning, the mere approval to build may not mean city-cooperation thereafter. It is, after all, Chicago. Forms, plans, approval stamps, building inspectors can get, well, lost.
Another question here though: Will the City of Chicago be paying for any part of Farrakhan’s army?

So if Amazon.com wanted to build a warehouse in this area, because they are supporting gay “marriage” activists, they cant build there?

A big WTF!
How about telling unions that they can organize if they are apolitical?
It’s none of their business in either case.

Apparently, Al Capone’s mob never really went away. They simply went into politics. Legal injunctions have replaced the Tommy gun as the weapon of choice.

They shouldn’t put anything in writing or say anything or make any promises that other prospective businesses aren’t asked to do. Just say we’ll see you in court.

Chick-fil-A owners should tell these thugs to forget it and then put a big add in the paper letting people know why they did not open a store there..
I don't want to see a christian business let the thugs of Chicago tell them what to do..They don't need the money..

You can try Ebay or, better yet, google what you’re looking for and buy it from a small business.
I bought a new kindle this week which is made by Amazon. I had to bargain with myself - bought it from Best Buy so Amazon only received wholesale price.
