Why GOP leaders slur Bachmann, defend Obama
WND ^ | July 27, 2012 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 07/27/2012 9:20:40 AM PDT by EternalVigilance

During the GOP’s blatantly rigged 2012 primary season, Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., distinguished herself as a sincere spokeswoman for the conservative grass-roots constituency the nomination of Mitt Romney will emphatically betray. Just recently she joined with several of her colleagues courageously to demand an investigation into evidence the Obama faction has placed people associated with organizations that promote Islamic jihad and Shariah law into high-level positions in the U.S. government, from which they may be exerting inordinate influence on America’s foreign and national-security policy. Now key members of the elitist faction’s leadership in the Democratic and Republican parties have embarked upon a scurrilous campaign of personal destruction aimed at discrediting Bachmann’s demand. Their campaign makes use of ad hominem attacks that accuse her of anti-Muslim bigotry and falsely suggest that her apprehension has no factual basis. Yet the ad hominem assault appears to have been launched precisely because Rep. Bachmann capably established the solid basis for her concerns. In a letter to Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., she rebutted his scurrilously false characterizations of her actions with a meticulously footnoted response amply documenting the facts that justify her security concerns.

-----

Why has the GOP leadership unleashed this communist-style purge against Michele Bachmann? Why do they seek to thwart the demand seriously to investigate what could very well be a fatal threat to America’s security? Why do they cooperate in discouraging an inquiry into what appears to be a serious lapse of competence and/or loyalty in the Obama faction’s stewardship of America’s most vital national-security interests? Why indeed, unless the elitist-faction agenda calls for another sham election, in which the leaders of its GOP wing dutifully lend themselves to the betrayal of the party’s conservative base (and America’s survival in freedom), as they did in 2008.

Been that way for awhile. Alan was one of the first conservatives forced out of the formerly grand old party.

The purge continues.

This just highlights how absolutely imperative it is for a third party to form up immediately after this election. (Hopefully Virgil Goode won’t steal the election in Obummer’s favor, but that’s another story.)

The Tea Party should have slammed ahead with nationwide party formation in the closing minutes of the 2010 election. That they didn’t is a tragedy that we’ll pay for over time.

The Elites are trying to stuff their agenda down our throats. There isn’t enough difference between the two parties anymore to really stand out, once the Elites start flexing their muscle. I mean, do you want to go over the cliff at top speed in fourth gear, or at slower speed in second gear?

Give us somebody we can vote FOR instead of having to always vote AGAINST the lesser of several evils.

The Elites are trying to stuff their agenda down our throats.

You're absolutely right, but you know what?

The only time that the elites listen to regular people is on election day. We can only speak to them with our vote. Nothing will happen unless we vote against them and we are seen to be voting against them.

In the past, I have made the mistake of voting for one elitist liberal (McCain) to prevent the election of another elitist liberal (Obama). The nomination of liberal elitist Romney is my reward for that kind of mindless loyalty.

I will never again vote for any liberal, for any reason.

This is not a question of patriotism This is a question of economics.

Congressmen come to DC as dead broke small town attorneys. In three House terms or one senate (6 years) they are multi-millionaires ... and so are their friends and families.

Feinstein? $500 Million. Boxer? ditto. Pelosi? Buy and sell'em both. Reid? $50 Million. Boehner, Mc Connell, Hatch, Lugar, Lautenberg, ... you are talking a very wealthy oligarchy. Republicans have given up any pretence of desire to run the government. The bureaucracy is Democrat from top to bottom.

Every bill is larded with provisions and amendments which benefit those groups that support politicians, who steer appropriate emoluments back to them.

We do not have a democracy. We now have a Kleptocracy, a massive insider trading scam, which if run on Wall Street would see every broker in the land in the slammer.

The Stupid Party is smart enough to have safe seats, and are extremely well rewarded for playing dumb and friendly to their colleagues in the Evil Party. Ain't no guarantee in The Constitution that the Republic would last forever.

And don't forget who voted Obama in. Your friends, your neighbors, and I ashamed to say this: my children!

Sorry you feel that way. I don't know what a dhimmi isolationist is but I am a non-interventionist in that area of the world. The coalition, including muslims, of Bush I in the Kuwait war is the way to go.
Taht isn't non-interventionist. But putting that aside, I don't think you know what the Muslim Brotherhood is or what it's history is. The Muslim Brotherhood wishes to replace the corruped ARab states and replace them with a Caliphate.

We have since adopted the policy of overthrowing leaders militarily and will no doubt end up with worse.
In some cases. In Libya and Syria, neoconservatives and leftists have allied with with the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda. You say that Bachmann wants a holy war, but she opposed the treasonous Libyan campaign.

I see China as our potential enemy not a bunch unable to have a world class military anything and need to resort to stealing planes, improvised devices and killing themselves to be considered a threat. Hardly threatening to take over the world.
China seeks to dominate Asia, even as its influence and alliance reach into Africa and LAtin America.
AS for Muslims, look how the civilizational treason of the Eurabia elites is changing Europe.

I'm still a conservative who wants to conserve America and not be the world's police force. We have our own citizens to take care of.
And one way to do it is to make sure that the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't run our policies.

Appreciate your considered reply but I still do not regard the Muslim Brotherhood, or the countries they are in, as any military threat to us. In spite of what may be their aspirations they are without capability.

Its called POWER...and the Tea Party is the biggest threat to the RinoCracy.

That will coalesce even further when its time to “repeal ObamaCare”

Who do you think control's Libya's wmd stockpile and missiles and will control that of Syria, if not the Ikhwan, the parent org of Al Qaeda? They can't invade us, but a chemical weapon going off in a mall will hurt. Jetliners being shot down will hurt.
