Then that is very sad indeed. I guess it goes to show that there are very, very few good politicians being elected to Congress (or state & local gubmints) any longer. It's amazing how Repubs & so-called conservatives seem to struggle so much to simply understand what are core conservative principles & values, and to vote accordingly. In all honesty, I must say, that if I were in Congress however with this opinion & views, I would likely be voting against nearly 100% of proposed bills, since nearly every bill promotes the expansion of the federal welfare socialist nanny state.

"Gridlock" is the only way out. For the "non-left" gridlock means no bills.
