There is no Chik-Fil-A in our neck of the woods, but we decided yesterday, after learning of the August 1 support day, that we will drive to the nearest one to eat despite the 1.5-hour drive just to make a statement.

Fat (mostly animal fats) do not clog your arteries; they actually protect your heart, as long as they are not rancid.

As for the fries, double bad! Starch and vegetable oil, and most likely quite stale in most cases.

I had never been to a Chick-Fil-A prior to this incident (Perhaps I am a “food Snob?) but I have been there TWICE since this incident has occurred.

Yep. Wednesday will be my first trip. I told my wife to be prepared for a couple of hours wait for a sandwich. She said, "Cool."

Let me offer one of the most unique menu items (I'm cheating; my youngest daughter is a high school senior and works at Chick-fil-A): The Single Nugget. Yes. There's a special key on the Chick-fil-A register for a Single Nugget ($0.25). High schoolers, college students, and others low on change often come into Chick-fil-A, so Chick-fil-A will sell them one nugget, in a box, with a dipping sauce, for a quarter.
