And didn’t go to Vietnam, because he “had more important things to do”.

I completely disagree with Cheney on Palin and other issues BUT he didn't go to Vietnam because he was married with 2 kids --Do you really think the draft board would accept " I had more important things to do as a reason " not to draft him ?

No, i do not think they would accept it. “had more important things to do”. Was his reason for scrambling for 5 deferrments, only the last of which did he have a kid.

But this puts him in good company, Mitt sat out the war in France as a missionary.
Screw the GOPe. That Chickenhawk label never fit so well.
Cheney is a classic Chickenhawk. If they think the way to win the election is to give the finger to Sarah, they lost me.

Just as i was starting to acccept that maybe id hold my nose and do it.

There were many dads over in Vietnam...

The GOPe is getting ready to blow another one with Mitt. I would think he would be smart enough to latch on to the excitement at the Beck rally last night, but he doesn’t need the tea party. He will go ahead and pick someone more vanilla than him, Portman is my guess, and not have to worry about being out done by his running mate. Yawn.

Simply disagreeing with Obama will NOT get the job done. But he cannot hear anyone except Rowe.
