So Obama supports the 2nd amendment?

You're problem as a Mitt Romney supporter, is that they are both basically stating the same thing on the 2nd Amendment.

They both believe that so-called "Assault Weapons" have no place in the hands of citizens.

They both basically have stated that guns are just for hunting and self-defense with no mention of the real purpose of the 2nd Amendment, to strike fear in the hearts and minds of those in Government in order to remind them that the people are in charge and can take back their government, by force, if necessary.

assault weapons were never banned

From the 2008 Opposition Research report prepared by the McCain Campaign.

GUN CONTROL

- In 1994 Senate race, Romney backed Brady bill and assault weapons ban, saying “I don’t line up with the NRA” and “that’s not going to make me the hero of the NRA.”

- Romney called Clinton crime bill “a big step forward.”

- As governor, Romney quadrupled gun licensing fees and vowed not to “chip away” at tough gun laws

- In 2004, Romney signed permanent state-level ban on assault weapons that was mirrored after federal assault weapons ban.

- In January 2006, Romney said he owned a gun – then two days later admitted he did not and the gun belonged to his son.

- Romney bragged about being member of the NRA but later revealed he didn’t join until August 2006, just before launching his presidential campaign.

- Romney recently said he’s “been a hunter pretty much all my life” but later admitted he hunted only twice in his life, later clarifying remarks by claiming he has hunted “small varmints … more than two times.”

- In 2006 press conference, Romney claimed he had been hunting “many times” after returning from quail hunt in Georgia.

“You’re problem as a Mitt Romney supporter,”

A faulty assumption on your part.

Obama has proven himself willing to turn this issue over to the UN and subordinate America to them. He has done everything he can to bypass Congress.

And Romney is hardly an anti-white racist. Hussein and his whole administration are permeated with it. There’s that even if if there were nothing else. He can’t play the race card to shut up the opposition, which has worked like a charm with the weak and spineless GOP. It’s Hussein’s silver bullet, all he (or one of his minions) has to do is yell “racist!” and they fold like a cheap suit. Romney won’t have that card, and it’s the only one that works so well.

You're not going to reclamin anything with Mitt Romney.

My plan for the future is in rebuilding the Republican Party in to a more conservative, liberty loving party from the ground up by supporting more conservative candidates at the state and local level.

Some of these candidates will go on to become national candidates.

We also have to attack on other fronts such as education. It will not be quick and it will not be easy. As I said before we did not get here over night and I doubt I will see victory in my life time but I am in this for the long haul.

I despise Romney as much as you do but I will support him for the sake of the long road ahead. I despised McCain and I worked for him because I see that this is but a small battle in a long war of ideas and ideals. We can not win the war if we are constantly at war with our selves.

You despised McCain, but like me and many conservatives, supported him. Karl Rove and company thereby learned (or thought he learned) that the GOP could always count on conservative support no matter who is nominated. Romney is our reward for supporting McCain.

If we support Romney in 2012, what will be our reward in 2016? Would you accept Maxine Waters if Rove can talk her into running as a Republican?

If you want an acceptable nominee in 2016, you need to reject this unacceptable nominee in 2012. Just say no.

No, I was asking about Obama, the other alternative for the office of President.

Personally I wish Cain was the GOP candidate.

I agree with your plan, however, you won't accomplish a thing towards your goals and plan with Romney at the head of the GOP.

The exact opposite will occur and I present the MA GOP as the prime example. Romney literally destroyed the MA GOP with his Progressive Liberal shanigans as Governor of MA.

And I am sure that Mitt Romney boosters want everything and everyone banned that actually brings up the lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal record of Mitt Romney in any context whether left or right.

Oh shut up. Read my history, bub. Mittens was always my last choice. But now he is the ONLY choice with 99 days to go. Who is YOUR choice, the liberal assclown Gary Johnson? WTF is the point of posting Blodget's bilge, which he publishes solely to divide us and help Obama?

You need to update your profile page. It’s still stuck on McCain. Time to update to Romney.

I already posted my solution up-thread.

I'll either write in Governor Palin, or vote for Virgil Goode or Tom Hoefling.

I don't vote for lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberals whether they have a 'D' or 'R' next to their names.

It appears your standards are slipping.

We have to bite the bullet and vote for this wishy washy moderate Republican

"Moderate Republican"? He's the most liberal candidate ever put forward by the Republican party, far, far from "moderate". While you may "bite the bullet" and vote for the far left liberal Romney, I don't care for the taste of that particular bullet. Not my caliber.
