I think this is an over reaction on your part and I would be careful to not fall into the cult of personality thing for Palin. I like her too but she has said some things that whe was wrong about as well. Like stating that Condi Rice would make a good VP pick. Totally and utterly wrong.

Ronald Reagan made mistakes as well, such as being a Democrat for many years. Reagan openly admitted that mistake in reply to a question from Sam Donaldson. See this clip:

If you parse it, a good VP pick doesn’t mean the same thing as a good VP. (I wasn’t fond of that recommendation either, but what else is she going to say without appearing to be a jealous female or a racist?)

Why is it that Democrats are permitted to have personality cults over their leaders, and not Republicans? The liberals swoon over JFK, RFK, Ted Kennedy, and their camelot fairy tales. We are always required to worship FDR for supposedly getting us out of the Great Depression, and for fighting fascism. What about the cult of the ObamaMessiah?
I admit that I am a Palin cultist. I love our conservative heroes - Calvin Coolidge, Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, and Sarah Palin, as much as the Democrats love their heroes.
