A 65-year-old woman fired two rounds from a handgun at five masked men after they attempted to rob her jewelry store in Garden Grove, Calif. on Sunday. Her shots sent the men fleeing in such a panic that they literally tripped over each other trying to exit the store, KTLA reports.
The woman then went running after them down the street, still gripping her pistol. And all of it was caught on surveillance camera.

Holder’s People can run pretty fast when they want to...
The “downrange” warning seems proper and better than warnings against “vigilantism.” I haven’t heare about any instances yet of other folks “downrange” getting shot in these incidents, though.
I am just waiting for a flash mob to be accosted by a similar standoff.
Seems to be a new trend, senior citizens with more balls than our current younger generation.
First rule to remember when confronting a senior citizen...they probably cannot remember having any rules.
AARP should send a pistol to anyone over 55. Might just change things a bit. what a granny! I have seen that video many times, and I bet the homeys are all whining it wasn’t fair.
“AARP should send a pistol to anyone over 55...”
AARP??? You gotta be kidding...that leftist, self-serving POS of an organization preys on the old people it claims to represent.
It was the best Olympic event I've seen so far!

And everybody's... sayin' that there's nobody meaner...
But parked in her rickety old gun box is a shiny Smith & Wesson and a couple of Glocks...
I usually fire two warning shots too...about mid-chest.
My 85-year-old mother has CCW. She also has no compunction at all over protecting herself. Cops are nothing but a reporting agency, only useful AFTER the crime has been committed. There’s no better crime deterrent than an armed populace.
Our official recommendation is that business owners should not take the law upon themselves, said Nightengale. It is difficult because when you start shooting guns those rounds can end up anywhere. We would rather have the crime happen and have good witnesses rather than putting someones safety in jeopardy.
Some high risk businesses, like jewelry stores, are using a “double buzz”, airlock system, to make robberies a lot harder.
When a customer arrives at the front door, they push a doorbell button to request to be let in. Then an employee pushes a button to open the “outer” door. When they open the door, they enter a thick clear laminate, but narrow enough for only one person, “phone booth”, one at a time.
A second button is needed to open the inner door, but it will only open once the outer door is closed and locked. And the outer door will only open when the inner door is closed and locked.
This way, one or more robbers can’t use the system, and can’t get out even with a hostage.
And yet the irony is that many armed robbers are so incredibly stupid that you have to be armed anyway, as if they can’t get out, they will just try and shoot up the place and its employees.
Maybe they want the “VICTIM” to wear a shirt with a target in a “non-lethal” part of the body.
Many of US load our guns with a “Frangible” bullet that is designed to come apart and NOT penetrate walls and create havoc ‘down the street’ or ‘next door’.
An automobile, in the hands of a drunk or fool is as dangerous as any gun ever was. No one wants to ban the car.
