I've heard that same tired thing EVERY single election cycle. Every one.

It doesn't work any more. Try something new, like running a conservative. Or shutting up Rove when he attacks conservatives, or shutting down the dirty tricks (Florida, Virginia).

***I have appreciated your honesty. So here is mine. We lost our republic in 2008 when the SCOTUS refused to uphold the requirements for the eligibility of the POTUS-elect, as the 20th amendment says to do.

Perhaps it doesn’t alleviate your fears about losing the republic to point out that the republic is already lost. But God knows what we do and how we do it, for love of our country. And God wants us to proceed without fear, rather than to proceed with it.
