It is just after 11:30 on Friday night and Adam Smith has sent an email with a link to his official video response to the all of the events that followed his protest of Wednesday‘s ’Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.’ The clip, nearly eight minutes in length, opens with an apology to Rachel, the woman who was working the window at the drive-thru.

"The clip, nearly eight minutes in length..."

The arrogant jerk remains the arrogant jerk. Such a severe lapse in humanity and judgment requires a personal, heart felt, and unconditional apology provided directly to the young lady by phone call, letter, or in person.

Someone else posted that link on another thread yesterday. I found it interesting that the wife claims atheism after 30 some years of Christianity, and is in her first year of atheism. Reading your later post, I wonder just how overbearingly influential he was on her. Judging by his viral video, I’d suspect way over the top.

I’m guessing it’s another ultra-leftist non-apology apology, and won’t waste the time on it that freaks always seem to be able to find to express their intolerance for those who don’t think like they do.

I agree. He is only sorry that he got his sorry a$$ fired. I won’t watch his apology either. He was lucky Rachel’s dad or a very large boyfriend wasn’t around to beat the little weasel into next week!

That’s right. Less than a minute would have done it.

I don’t believe this:

“But when I got to your window, after seeing all the people in and outside the restaurant that came to support Chick-fil-A, I lost it. I just lost it. I couldn’t believe the number of people came out to support a corporation that associates themselves with anti-gay groups, like Exodus International and the American Family Association.”

He was acting like an ass from the very beginning of that video.

In the words of Antoine Dodson,

Adam Smith ..You are so Dumb.

He still has his job at the local college. If all the instructors who agreed with him were fired, there’rd be no one to dish out liberal propaganda... I suspect that job is secure...

See my post #22 to Presbyterian Reporter. I saw your post yesterday, but couldn’t recall the thread or poster. It’s now clear, at least to me, this guy has real control issues, and I suspect his wife (family at whole) is an early victim. Reading that page you found brings it all together. A young woman, 30+ years a Christian, now in her first year of atheism. Uh huh.

He is not sorry for HIS improper actions.

He is sorry for having to bear the CONSEQUENCES of his own actions.

Liberals have a way of being 'tolerant' of each other - and only each other. They'll 'empathize' or 'feel his pain' or be 'open minded'. All the things that mean 'our guy right or wrong'...

LOL. But certainly true.

I did not find the “Adam Smith is an atheist” youtube. Someone else did. As you found Smith’s wife’s atheism.

It seems to me Smith’s actions were driven by his militant atheist hatred of Chick-fil-A being a Christian company that takes a day-of-rest on Sunday and supports Christian charities.

The homosexual marriage issue was his excuse to rant about CFA.

I hope others give some thought and comment on Smith’s atheism.

This makes me so sad for him, his wife, his family. To have received Jesus, and through his ‘research’, forsake him — heartbreaking. How many people are lost because of their reliance on their wee little brains?

I will never understand how people can assume that we can understand God — the Creator of all things, things we are just discovering, things that we still have no idea how they work — but we can understand Him, and decide that He doesn’t exist because He does not make sense when we ‘investigate’ and ‘research’ Him.

He still has his job at the local college.

I read on an early thread yesterday that the college had released him earlier (not related to this) and he was no longer on staff.

I watched it, his apology seems genuine to me.

The problem he has is thinking his opinions are automatically interchangable with objective truth. Lots of people have that problem.

Don’t think so. UofA said his lecturer contract ended May 2012 with the implication no new contract was in the offing.

It’s called “jailhouse religion”.

Everyone at the county slammer gets God [until they get out], and all liberals are “sorry” when they get caught and the hammer comes down. When they are back off the radar, it’s a resumption of the filth and hate fest.

This prick is no different. I can imagine what he is saying in private to his bigoted pals.

The interesting thing is that her husband isn’t mentioned in her posts. This might not be the right Amy Smith but it fits. Adopted son. 4 children.

I got the name Amy Smith from Adam M Smith property records in Tucson.
