Using the collective "we" might irk some but look at the results in conservative bastions like Utah, Wyoming and Texas. In those stays, Romney didn't just win their primary/caucuses - he crushed the opposition overwhelmingly.
So yes, collectively speaking, "we" did this to ourselves. You and I alone are not going to change things. We need to convince others. We are not going to accomplish this by yelling at them, calling them names, telling them they are stupid, etc.
On a positive note, I am glad to see the victory of Ted Cruz in Texas last week. There are other Tea Party victories we can point to across the country - so the tide is beginning to shift. We are beginning to build on something here. We need to keep the momentum going and should not attack other conservatives because they are not 100% in lockstep with us. The key is to win them over through persuasion.

I am glad as well to see that. However, unless we get a conservative in the Presidency we will never fix our problems. I knew you were talking as a collective....I just wanted to ensure you knew I did not vote for him in the primary. The General is tough. I sorta promised some FREEPERS that I was going to vote for Romney just to get rid of Obama. But I have a serious problem with rewarding someone the Presidency that does not deserve it. It is only August and I am sure that when I walk in the voting booth, I will pull it for Romney but it is the worst feeling ever and I did not even have this feeling last round with McCain....Even if Palin was not the VP nom, I did not have this revolting feeling about McCain. Romney is just plain scum. He is clearly a hard left socialist at best and we have to vote for him.....SICK!!!!!
TELL US - WHAT CONSERVATIVES are you speaking about?
