Just like McLame pimped for Obama in ‘08, Mitt is doing the same for him this time as well. The GOP is worse than the RATS. At least with the RATS we knew game plan but the GOP is keeps stabbing us in the back and we keep taking it.

I heard Romneys handler was out of touch..this proves it. No indoctrination into Gay life style for boy scouts should be his position.

What does the Mormon church teach on the subject of homosexuality and will they allow homosexual marriage or homosexuals in leadership roles? Does Romney disagree with his church?

Sounds more like Romney came out in favor of freedom of association.

Boy Scout’s current policy prohibiting open homosexuals from serving as members and leaders.

I can't find much to fear here:

“I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue,” Romney stated during the debate. “I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.”

Essentially, he is saying he doesn't discriminate and BSA has the right of freedom of association and can decide its membership as it sees fit.

“[I]f two people of the same gender want to live together, want to have a loving relationship, or even to adopt a child, in my state, individuals of the same sex were able to adopt children. In my view, that’s something that people have a right to do,” Romney outlined. “But, to call that ‘marriage’ is something that in my view is a departure from the real meaning of that word.”

From a legal and traditional standpoint, he again isn't discriminating or favoring by saying that two consenting adults can enter into a legal contract to do something that isn't illegal.

And he's right that domestic partnerships aren't "marriage" and shouldn't be legally referred to as marriage as we traditionally, historically have defined marriage.

Based on these quotes, he's seems more of an advocate of the Bill of Rights, as far as that goes, and not so much a supporter of gay rights or someone pushing that agenda.

Why does this A$$hat keep loading on the obstacles to me voting for him? As I have posed repeatedly - my heart is very much against voting for Romney. I have been blasted for that viewpoint, being told basically that if I don’t vote for Romney, I am reelecting Obama...

And indeed, I have been holding my breath and waiting for the VP pick... but in the meantime, he piles on this crap...

And lest we forget - the LDS “church” (i.e.- Mormons) teach and preach against homosexuality... So it sounds kind of like Romney is about as much a practicing Mormon as Pelosi is a practicing Catholic... Only when it is convenient and politically expedient...

And next week, Romney’s campaign will release a plan for legalizing homosexual marriage across the nation... (I hope this is a joke).

We already know Romney is soft on abortion.

He is apparently soft on the homosexual issue

He hasn’t really put forward much on the whole illegal immigration debate (won’t be as big of an “issue” after Obama makes a couple million “legal” just before the election).

And of course - his record on socialized medicine... I don’t foresee him supporting a full repeal of ObamaCare. He can talk a big game - but his record speaks far louder.

With “news” like this - it is about time for the Freeper Romneybots and the others (ABO crowd in particular) to shut up.

Mitt Romney has always supported homo activists in their war against the Boy Scouts.

Starting during the Clinton Administration (does the name Roberta Achtenberg ring a bell?) the Boy Scouts came under relentless fire by the Democrats and their newsrooms for rejecting the idea that they, the Boy Scouts of America, should welcome homosexual scout leaders into the organization and let them take little boys off into the woods. Boy Scouts leaders didn’t think this was such a good idea. Naturally, Massachusetts Mittens sided with the homo activists.

Below are a couple of columns from 10 and 12 years ago about the Boy Scouts being turned away by Mitt Romney and the Olympics Committee for volunteer work on the Salt Lake Olympics. The Boy Scouts had been very active and high profile at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and were looking forward to participating once again. But the Boy Scouts had just won an important Supreme Court case (in June 2000 the Supreme Court ruled that the BSA was a private organization that could choose whoever they wanted as scout leaders and could therefore reject sodomites) and the Democrats/homos were still mighty ticked off about it. Massachusetts Mittens could always be counted on to pander to homo activists, of course, so he gladly came up with a lame lie of an excuse for turning the Boy Scouts away from the Salt Lake Olympics. The Boy Scouts’ disappointment was palpable, and Mitt Romney never returned their calls.

I am strongly on record in support of the wisdom of the traditional Boy Scout policy, as witness this 2001 article: Boy Scouts Of America vs. A Leftwing Agenda.

But this article is misleading in its basic emphasis. While I deplore the comment of the Romney staff member, one must not overlook this statement by the candidate, even in Massachusetts, years ago: “I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue.”

So long as Governor Romney respects basic American freedom, my essential point in the "virtual" endorsement, remains the valid approach: Gov. Romney & American Conservatives.

By polite, persistent & persuasive appeals to Romney's strengths as a "problem solver," we have both our best chance to move him in the right direction, while moving others in the right direction. Why? Because the Conservative position on all issues is based upon human experience--what actually works for the betterment of all. We need to calmly appeal to reason, not denounce those who are only partly on our side. Those partly on our side are the most obvious ones to recruit next!

Think about how to win!

If 0bama wins, America is lost forever. Simple as that. He will finish the destruction—Supreme Court will be completely leftist FOR YEARS TO COME! Dictators don’t need no stinkin’ constitution either. And those are not even the worst things...

We have to start somewhere. THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE to even BEGIN with half a fighting chance.

Then look to get your ‘can do no wrong’ candidate in and then work on the boyscouts, the homo, illegal and the pro-life debates.
Sheesh, those are not the most dire problems we have AT THIS TIME.

Just because a candidate doesn’t stand up to all your soapy clean beliefs, you are willing to keep 0bamao in power.

You are the ones that will help take down America. It’s on your hands.

GET 0BAMA OUT FIRST!
