Hey, its great news. Let them develop this technology on their own dime, sell the cars without Gov’t help or interference, and keep the money they make. At least, that’s how it should work.
That's the problem. It was $62 billion worth of our dimes that GM has taken. They screwed the bondholders, the pensioners, the dealers, and even the employees (building foreign plants). The stock is horrid, they have NOT bounced back and are still pushing this technology with absolutely no proof that they can get this mileage.
Maybe they will find someone to produce the battery. Maybe not. Meanwhile the administration is shutting down coal mining and coal fired power plants by the dozens. Even they find the battery tech, it will STILL cost more than gasoline. It is STILL is dirtier than gasoline. We are all paying through the nose while these filthy liars have a party on our time and dime. It stinks. Everybody knows it stinks too.
