On top of that Obama has avoided so much blame that there are actually some freepers willing to sit this one out.

It's not about blame, its about "principles". I was in that camp earlier this year until I realized that sometimes it really is better to vote for the lesser of two evils.
I think we can control Romney down ticket, but we will never control Obama down-ticket because he does not care at all about the rule of law.
