The idea is to win. G.W. Bush won reelection. He did not waste resources on Kerry until people were paying attention.

Pretty darn fair rant.

"OK. Lets go passion. Let's vote because we feel passion. You bunch of democrats. Yes, Democrats. That's what they do, they vote feeling You either want obama out or you don't. Hell, let's be passionate and punish this country with another 4 years of obama - thatll sure teach THEM - won't it? Let's all glory in our righteousness because we got to be right because we got conscience on our side. yay, nail Romney to the wall cause he aint one of us. You know what? I don't care how piss poor Romney is, he's damn sure better than the kenyan. Yall go on, be righteous..feel Gooooood about yourselves and your morals, and your patriotism. Go for it~ "\\\ Sorry, ya' got me all wrong hot rod. I WILL vote for Romney against the greatest threat this country has ever seen but I'm frustrated at the lack of 'passion' (don't EVER confuse me with a liberal who 'feels' instead of thinks) in what I see in his campaign. Nothing more, nothing less.
Sorry I was misconstrued but when I see weakness, I smell blood.

I hear you.
But, this is the democratic playbook.
Democrats can smell blood in the water like sharks.
Democrats perceive our weakness with Romney and they will play that hand.
We fall for it every time.
To: ClearCase_guy
Vote for Romney, get Obama. Vote for Obama, get Obama.
Same sh8t, different year. No big deal, the big banks own them both.

Screw passion, how about simply being effective?
If Romney can't convince people he's better than obama to run the country, I'm going to guess you'll blame the voters.
That's what the campaigning is all about, convincing voters to vote for him and not against him, and definitely not just stay home.
The criticism you're having so much trouble with is voters' and supporters' way of telling him they are not happy and what they'd like to see.
But instead, we should just stfu and do as we are told? Is that your sales pitch?
First impressions are important and Romney's isn't getting off to a winning start.

Also Bush II would not appear ‘aggressive’ and ‘mean’ while in the White House because it would demean Daddy's office. Mommy told him that and his wife seconded it. “George, you have to be dignified the way your father was in the White house. No one likes someone who is mean to people, even Democrats.”

Uh-oh. We're now going in the same circle that I mentioned in the private e-mail. The point I was trying to get to was the same thing that you are saying now, but I had to get attacked. Now I have to explain what I was talking about. Are you sure you're not my wife incognito? :-)
We field a weak candidate and the opposition 'smells it', alright. That was my original point, NOT (sorry for shouting) that I wouldn't support Romney against the kenyan piece of shit.

If Bush really cared about the dignity of the White House as much as even I believed he did there’s no way he would even speak to Obama after all that he has done.
Makes me sick
To: tsowellfan
Bush II was just doing ‘what he was supposed to do’. The guy is a perpetual mark that begs to have a ‘kick me’ sign stuck on his coattails and he never gets why people do ‘mean’ things to him. After all the many mexicans he has working for him are appropriately grateful to the patron.

I'm on a bunch myself.

The difference between passion and feeling:
Feeling (a democrat trait) is you really like a candidate as long as he belongs to your party. No core values necessary. Just be able to speak without any particular American dialect which exposes the region you came from.
Passion is a reflection of the candidate’s own passion for his core values. It’s something you live for and will always want more of. Like Ronald Reagan was to his supporters and his supporters to Ronald Reagan.
Lack of passion for McCain was what gave us Obama.
