We have a problem. Unfortunately the problem seems to be with you and your campaign. Your opponent—despite his now-proven illegal status to even occupy OUR White House—is the sitting president of the United States.
This, of course, gives him almost unlimited resources to squash and destroy—by whatever means necessary—his opponents. As the Obama syndicate could find virtually nothing legitimate with which to destroy you (as he has done to every other opponent against whom he has ever run), his campaign has eagerly chosen to move the their first choice of attack—lies, lies and more lies.
Most precariously, in response to the arguably most despicable and false campaign AD in US history—that of actually calling you a murderer—your campaign leaders had virtually nothing to say except to bring up the health care program when you were Governor of Massachusetts...

I don’t disagree with that. I haven’t been watching Romney real close, and the times I have tuned in, he seemed to be doing okay, with the idea that the DNCp was blasting him as the main negative.
Others are saying he is coming off wimpy, and they may be right. I do agree that we need a powerful opposition party to those characters.
If Romney isn’t, that leader, folks are going to rue the day he was ever nominated. You just watch how this all turns around to be the fault of people who never supported him in the first place.
I'm just saying Romney or Obama.
I prefer Romney to the keyan and don't understand those that think otherwise - those who would throw the election on some sort of “principle”.
I'm not (really) trying to be a jerk or anything.
My take on this is that it could be the Romney campaign realizes that the democrat base is not fired up while most conservatives are pumped to the exploding point. I know I am. Anyone but Obama is how I feel, and I will damned sure vote. They may think that if they come out slinging venom barbs at Obama that it may fire up their base.
And I don't think it was our lack of passion that caused McCain to lose. McCain wanted to lose and he did.
We were played.
And in the end this current election won't mean jack, but I still like to think it will.

Donald Trump and others must have not gotten that memo. They keep warning Romney that Obama is not a nice man and if you don’t take off the gloves you will lose.
It will mean something if Obama loses.
Romney needs to show passion. I was the one to introduce the word in this whole thread. My comment was Romney needs to appear passionate.
Without passion you win nothing. Well, you may win unmeaningful things like a card game in at the kitchen table or a game of tick tack toe but to go places whether it be where Rush Limbaugh is, Michael Jordan or President of the United States... you just have to have a passion to get there.
McCain did not want to lose (as much as it appeared he did). Nobody in their right mind would get that close to being the most powerful leader in the world and just change their mind (exception: billionaire Donald Trump).
McCain lost because he did not have the passion.
And don’t say you’re old. You’ll be posting here even after Paul Ryan wins his first term in office.

Not the wrong thread regarding this topic, I’ve been on several relating to these issues tonight and I sometimes lose track of which one I’m replying to especially if they are different threads close to the same topic. Wrong thread doesn’t equal wrong topic. I had just figured your comments were relating to a similiar thread that I had been on earlier after reviewing things on this thread.
No joke. I’m not trying to flirt (especially on a political forum) but this conversation has been for me just like mine and my wife’s at times.

You're exactly correct! GW Bush was a blithering idiot when it came to going on offense against the demoRATs. In fact the only people or groups that he bristled at were conservatives who resisted him for his attempts at amnesty or his stealth SCOTUS appointees (including John Roberts).
GW Bush was best buddies with Ted Kennedy, who wrote No Child Left Behind and the trillion dollar Prescription Drug Plan, which then the demoRATs attacked GW Bush on. Too bad that New Gingrich failed to win the nomination. I believe that with all of Newt's flaws (many of which are made up by the liberal media) that he would have been the best, most articulate candidate against 0dumb0. And Newt would have been pounding the sh_t out of 0dumb0, like his worst enemy. Which BTW, 0dumb0 is the worst enemy of any American patriot or conservative.
I am waiting, along with other conservatives & patriots, to see if Mitt has the gonads & cajones to pummel 0dumb0 on dozens of travesties that 0dumb0 is guilty of.

Yup, I would describe you as one who does not support Romney. You'll vote for him but that's it. All you said is exactly where I stand.
I cannot let Obama win so I will vote against Obama. Other than that I cannot support Romney. No money, no door to door.
