WASHINGTON — His selection just hours old, Republican Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, was already tearing into President Barack Obama's "record of failure."

Moving into a role as Romney's chief attack dog, Ryan declared Saturday that the nation under Obama's leadership is struggling through the "worst economic recovery in 70 years."

His selection immediately thrusts those budget plans into the forefront of the presidential contest. Obama campaign manager Jim Messina called Ryan is the "architect of the radical Republican House budget" proposal and said the plan "would end Medicare as we know it."

And who exactly was it that stripped one half trillion $$$ from medicare so he could crow to the "takers" he passed Obamacare? R&R - Take the gloves off this very Saturday morning so you are ready for the Sunday morning gas bag shows.

BUT will the RNC allow him to continue ripping, or will the first cries of racism from the left, shut Ryan down as they did Palin in 2008?

Partly, Ryan was selected to be very outspoken against Obama while Romney remains presidential. Ryan has proved to be one of the best at articulating Obama’s lies.

I love this pick. I did not think we would be so lucky. If the economy truly turns around we could be looking at 16 years of Republican presidents.

Sometimes, like when Liberals are trying to obscure the truth, it’s imperative to state the obvious.

You know, Ross Perot got a lot of attention by getting on TV with his little flip charts and simply SHOWING Americans what was happening in this country with the budget, jobs, etc. in simple charts and graphs that the average Joe could understand.

I think Ryan is very good at communicating in a very “matter of fact” manner. I think he needs to be in front of the American public nightly, showing the DAMAGE that each and every one of Obama’s policies has caused and present a SOLUTION to fix the problem. Typical political speak like “We are going to get Americans back to work” won’t cut it.

Already the moronic Romney campaign is striving to “distance itself” from the Ryan budget. One of the main reasons I *like* Ryan is...wait for it...The Ryan Budget.

Romney has some very, very foolish people working with him.

Gak!
Wonder if there are some of the same dumbazzes who worked on the McCain campaign and tried to silence Palin.
They just wanted her to deliver canned sound bites and “look purdy.”

The reason I EVER took notice of Ryan was back when he verbally put Obama through the wood chipper over the budget.

He seems to be one of the FEW in congress who has a CLUE!

“..If the economy truly turns around we could be looking at 16 years of Republican presidents.”

You must be young.

Sadly, even if we saw irrefutable proof that Obama is not a citizen, we elected Romney, and had a MIRACULOUS turn around of our economy and EVERYONE did better than they’ve ever done before, AMericans would find themselves distracted with reality tv and would FORGET the misery that democrats have heaped upon us. They would be fooled again in 4-8 years and would vote D.

It happens.
