There was some pretty good advice there on getting out in front of the Dem. attack Ads. I hope the campaign sees that and takes heed.

God Bless Paul Ryan. I sense he is a reluctant warrior....but now that the decision has been made, he'll fight with all he has. But we can't let this turn into a gutter fight...the Dems own the gutter and all that dwells there.

Fortunately, Ryan is really really good at articulating his message simply and with conviction. That's because he believes in it completely - it's not just words he's been coached to speak.

The Dem machine has no defense against the passionate and positive articulation of freedom- and they know it. Their desperation will drive them to depths of character assassination that will make it look like Sarah Palin was one of their patron saints.

And perhaps that overreach is exactly what we need for the sleepy masses to finally wake up. I hope that TPTB in the campaign just let Ryan be Ryan.

Now I’ve been smiling lately, thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be, something good has begun

Oh prosperity train sounding louder
Glide on the prosperity train
Everyone jump upon the prosperity train

Get your bags together, go bring your good friends too
Cause it’s getting nearer, it soon will be with you

Now come and join the living, it’s not so far from you
And it’s getting nearer, soon it will all be true

Now I’ve been crying lately, thinking about the world as it is
Why must the dems go on hating, why can’t we live in bliss

Cause out on the edge of darkness, there rides a prosperity train
Oh prosperity train take this country, come take me home again
(Taken from the Peace Train Lyrics)

Day 2 and the shine is already wearing off:

Internal Memo Suggests Romney Will Applaud Ryan Budget Plan But Not Embrace It

“If we allow the left to define Paul Ryan through vicious and unscrupulous attacks, then WE do so at our own peril.” Agreed, but at the same time, the Romney campaign and the conservative SuperPacs need to develop and consistently execute a “pull no punches, hard hitting” offensive against Obama to constantly remind the American people of who and what his regime is and has done. There is no shortage of issues and scandals that can be used truthfully. If Romney doesn’t play hard ball politics and expects to win only by showing themselves in front of a flag and repeating the Pledge of Allegiance, we will lose. The Obama campaign, the MSM, and Obamas Superpacs will stop at nothing to destroy Romney/Ryan. But they will also capitalize on Obama’s charm and smoothness to fool the foolish into supporting his false promises and hope and change again. They’ll insulate him from the Chicago style gutter politics to maintain his false image of intelligence and coolness. For example; Obama’s “Choices” ad is full of BS, but it is very effective for the uninformed masses.

Paul Ryan is a favorite with the over 65 groups... He’ll do just fine with seniors.

If I was running the Romney Campaign the first thing I would do is immediately create multiple ads in which Paul Ryan is speaking to the camera and explaining the upcoming Medicare attacks. I would get out in front of this right now and not wait to respond to the coming attacks. Handicap the left by getting to the voters first.

They should have shot these ads Friday night. And started running them at about 9:45am Saturday morning.

They saw what happened with Palin, so there are no - ZERO - excuses for not being forewarned and doing everything possible to keep history from repeating itself.
