A couple of interesting notes:

http://www.beaumontpd.com/intended_robbery_victim_turns_tables_on_shotgun_wielding_robber.htm

“Officers identified the robber as Bryan Keith August, a 24-year-old Beaumont resident. A photo of August is not being released at this preliminary phase of the investigation because it could harm the integrity of the investigation. We are asking that the media not publish or post his photo at this time.”

“Officers then transported him to the county jail for the aggravated robbery as well as two outstanding warrants for burglary of a habitation and a pending warrant for a previous unrelated aggravated robbery. Officers also located a vehicle near the scene of this robbery that had been reported stolen. Investigation revealed that the suspect had used this stolen vehicle during the commission of tonight’s robbery attempt.”
