"Too many folks still don't have a sense that tomorrow will be better than today. And so, the question in this election is which way do we go?" President Obama asked at a fundraiser in Chicago on Sunday.

"Do we go forward towards a new vision of an America in which prosperity is shared?" Obama asked. "Or do we go backward to the same policies that got us in the mess in the first place?"

"I believe we have to go forward," Obama said. "I believe we have to keep working to create an America where no matter who you are, no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, no matter what your last name is, no matter who you love, you can make it here if you try. That's what's at stake in November. That's what is why I am running for a second term as president of the United States of America."

Problem is, Obama voters think Marxism is grand without even knowing what it is.

spot on... great way of describing sharing. it’s a juvenile concept/word when it comes to sharing earnings.

sharing with play... yes

Robin Hood could have called what he was doing as “sharing”..

amazing... lanqauge continues to devolve.

When you start a job and the prior occupant of the office left a steaming bag of stink on the desk, it’s not your fault.

Actually, it is. Obama was no innocent spectator in all this. He was in the Senate and voted for all the stinking bags of crap!

You share prosperity by creating jobs. If the job creators aren’t prosperous..... well you know the rest. He really has no clue. Don’t think he ever took an economics class.

Prosperity IS shared.

Indeed, the Republic is founded on the notion of guaranteeing "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Decide, in reasonable rational fairness (taking money by force from others isn't), what "happy" means to you and get busy pursuing it.

I find arguments are more easily won when the opponent's premise is taken at face value and followed to its natural conclusion. Makes it easier to forestall distractions when every "but what about..." can only lead to an even more embarrassing outcome.

So yes, at best it's not his fault - years of inaction make it his. At worst he was a prime instigator, and given the greatest control made it much worse.

You didn’t build that, so it is my duty to share it with everyone! (After I take a cut for me and my fellow elite utopians, of course)

Prosperity IS shared. Stated brilliantly:

“The reason employers exist is they represent accumulations of capital. McDonald’s provides free grills, fryers, cash registers, storefronts, uncooked hamburgers, lettuce, buns and ketchup to every employee. Not every person wants to assemble all the capital equipment necessary to sell hamburgers; those that don’t can walk into a place with all the capital already provided and settle down to do what might be their optimal specialty, producing burgers. They don’t get as much return, but then they don’t have capital invested either.
The minimal capital investment, even for these supposed “borderless” technology jobs, is several thousand dollars. For every person in the world that doesn’t have several thousand dollars (which is to say, the majority of them), employers who provide capital equipment will continue to exist.”

“Do we go forward towards a new vision of an America in which prosperity is shared?”

When do we go forward where the EFFORT is shared?

They (liberals) refuse to admit that some people work harder and smarter than other people. A lot harder and smarter...
