Jeeze, now the Obama campaign is wasting effort “walking-back” the First Lady’s throw away lines?! They are in deep doo-doo! Flailing!
Michele Obama is a humorless scold. The whole country instinctively knows it. Barak, OTOH, seems to enjoy playing the hen-pecked husband. This must be some sort of a cultural disconnect between conservatives and liberals.

Liar. The transcript I saw said Michelle used the name Gabby in the reply. From the AJC:
She admitted indulging in post-Olympics fast food to the wrong person: healthy eating advocate Mrs. Obama, who teased the champion.
"You're setting me back, Gabby," Obama told her.

No it doesn't. Her actions do that...lobbying for legislation...pushing for funding of her pet projects." Her previous actions are precisely why her "joke" wasn't funny and why people are commenting on it. Without her previous actions her "light-hearted banter" would not have excited any interest. When you couple that with the absurdity of a super-sized Michelle lecturing an Olympic gold-medalist about proper diet... well, it's just too much.
