I understand what you mean, but I was a tourist. I went to his grave, was there for about 10 seconds and never got to visit the home.
Beale Street was my favorite fun time on that trip. But, your humidity sucks. ;>)
I still love and admire the King and often celebrate the good parts of his life.
I guess living on the Gulf Coast steeled me for the humidity. Besides, that’s why air conditioning was invented: so you can feel good when you get out of the heat and humidity.
