REPORTER: Not to repeat the same stuff, but since the President has given the vote of confidence, and you've defended the Vice President repeatedly, let's settle this once and for all. End the speculation. This is the ticket, Obama-Biden? JAY CARNEY: I think... Yes. And that was settled a long long time ago. And while I appreciate -- I have great admiration for and respect for and a long relationship with Senator John McCain. But one place I would not go for advice on vice presidential running mates is Senator McCain...

Sorry, Carney, but you aren’t worthy of shining Sarah Palin’s shoes. You’re a petty little punk. She is an accomplished woman who has strong convictions and isn’t afraid to express herself. I don’t know how she was able to live through the absolute crud the media and pundits hurled her way in the early days, but I don’t worry about her any more. She can clearly handle them with aplomb.

I getcha...
I’m sorry, I was in reaction mode to another thread where I posted a statement I heard from Megyn Kelly abt the election and, because most folks didn’t hear, my credibility was questioned.
You are one of my heros as I follow your posts because you live in the belly of the beast.
I apologize for being so smarmy...no link needed.

Don’t be too sure. Doug Wilder said it, too, although he said it was too late to make the change. But, as has come up in these posts, now that Carney’s dissed McCain’s VP advice, an actual overhaul of Joe for Hill would make a great ad wouldn’t be the Rats’ most sensible decision. Never mind that Hillary’s too smart to join a sinking ship rather than keeping her own powder dry for 2016.

That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing Joe lose out to Nancy.
