HOUSTON -
A southwest Houston homeowner fired at burglary suspects who broke into a neighbor's house Wednesday, police said.
Houston police said the shooting happened at 11:15 a.m. in the 11200 block of Leawood.
"A neighbor witnessed three males bringing property out of his neighbor's house," Sgt. K. J. Morgan said. "He went back inside, retrieved a pistol, came outside, confronted them. One of them reached toward his waist like he was pulling a gun. The homeowner fired three shots."
Witnesses said they saw the wounded man about a block away from the scene. They said he claimed to be an innocent victim.
"He was just hollering, 'Help me. Help me. I'm going to die,'" witness Audrey Pavelka said.

“He was just hollering, ‘Help me. Help me. I’m going to die,’” witness Audrey Pavelka said
They should have helped him die by leaving him in the street.
From other sources:
Shooter’s name: Omar Monterrosa.
“The shooting will be referred to a grand jury without charges.”
Monterrosa confronted the suspects and ordered them to get down on the ground.
“He was just hollering, help me, help me, I’m gonna die, my back.”
The wounded man ran off, collapsed at a nearby apartment complex and was captured. Three other suspects got away — two fleeing on foot and one by car.
‘No sympathy for the perps in the comments.”
Tough crowd :-) We are all fed up with criminals and Liberals [yeah, I tend to repeat myself].
Now that’s a good neighbor!
