Funny, I thought we were supposed to be out of Afghanistan by now.

There was a book called “Peace Child” years ago. Every time I think of the Muslims, I think of that book.

Basically it was about a missionary couple trying to teach a violent tribe about Jesus Christ, but they were stymied because the local culture was so founded in violence and treachery that they thought JUDAS was the hero of the story. Judas was actually smart enough to infiltrate an enemy, pretend to be friends for months, steal money, and then betrayed the leader to his death and walked off with the cash.

I read the book. They were backwards violent people . . . until the gospel of Jesus changed them.

Our troops are not gonna change the afghanis. The gospel will if they are willing to receive it.

I’m not willing to risk more troops to achieve what they cannot do.

Bring them home.
