Yeah, I did have MM & Tony. Hendrick engines left Tony, JJ and Flash with thoughts of what might have been.

Darn good Michigan race. Drivers are really getting feisty.

Am really glad MM is OK. Totally agree w/previous posts - if he’d a hit 2 more feet forward...

Those caution free early races in the season was one reason I skated. Now that the boys have gotten rambunctious my scores are suffering big time. Law of averages and all that.

Hmmm, sounds like your all wee-wee’d up. I’d never pee on your chrome wheels but I’d look the other way if Missy pee’d on your carpet and speaking of which thanks for not mentioning my yellow tennis shoe (courtesy of a happy Scottie whose ears I scratched at Sonoma) when I visited your humble abode. Mrs. Happydog was ready to pee on MY carpet when JJ’s engine died with 5 laps to go.

Sam Hornish is putting on a good show for Penske and making a strong case to drive the ‘22 in 2013. Gordon continues to be snake-bit; the Dale cmts is a non issue to me but if he’d a wrecked Jr. that would have left a stain on someones floor.

Staying home this week and it’s the calm before the storm of trips, seminars, a Columbia River Salmon trip and the Oregon Ducks home opener. Fall is in the air and the mule deer bucks in the back yard have beautiful velvet racks. If I could just stop them from peeing on my grass. I wonder if they’d prefer chrome wheels instead..

That was Mrs. Happydog’s first love until JJ swept her off her paws. Speaking of JJ is he talking yet?

Kevin Harvick will have a new CC for Bristol. Glad I haven’t heard the radio traffic from the 29 car. Looking fwd to a Saturday race. We have plans Sunday to climb a local peak. We’re gonna pack in lunch then look for abandoned German Shepherds.

I asked Denni for a inside scoop and he leaned down and quietly said...”Try the ice cream vendor across the way”...

Should we tell our competitors if they haven’t changed their drivers it is too late as this is a Saturday night race...

This will be a really cool tribute car to Pat Summitt, in the Nationwide race at Bristol.

Absolutely not! This is cut-throat mister and we ain’t giving no tips to those wanna-be’s.

I’m not sure what we’re in store for Saturday night. Burton ground the track and changed the decline at Bristol & passing might be left to those with digestive gases. I hope the truck race wasn’t a harbinger of things to come as there were zero lead changes for the entire race last night.

Our three month perfect weather window in Bend is about at an end. Fall is in the air and there was frost on rooftops this morning. As I’m one of those bitter-clingers I’m trying to hold onto summer weather but dogs are powerless over seasonal change. And the age-old question of where black bears “do it” has been answered:
